The Taylor Street Night and Market: Brews and Bands in a Beautiful Historic Neighborhood

August 01, 2017

Street fairs, festivals, farmers markets, and other communal celebrations abound during the summer months in San Jose. And now there’s a brand new weekly beer garden event, the Taylor Street Night and Market, that takes place every Thursday evening from 5 to 9 P.M. in San Jose’s beautiful Japantown neighborhood. A major center of Japanese and Japanese-American culture that’s thrived for 126 years now, this historic neighborhood is one of the very few authentic Japantowns left in the United States. The Taylor Street Night and Market brings even more flair to this already vibrant community, with a weekly influx of food trucks, live music by popular area bands, and the very best locally-brewed beers. And if you have kids, be sure to bring them along too. There will be lots of games to keep them entertained while you enjoy the craft libations from Gordon Biersch, WILDCIDE, and TILT Brewing.
